ps.. Will this card along with some software allow me to do "barrel roll" laser effects with my ILDA RGB scanner?
Should be no problem. HE-Laserscan is free to download and is pretty much a full-blown laser show design package.

300EVIL: Can you send me a PM with the board design files? I might be able to start up a board run on this side of the Atlantic to save on logistics.

BTW, what would be the cost for a bare board? I've got plenty of op-amps and other bits around here to scavenge together a complete AUDIOLASE.

Anyway in my testing I guess interlx doesn't quite cut it
    [ I can't merge a 6 channel wav with a 2 channel one to make 8]
SO I'm going to have to write something that will separate
Laser_Boy generated channels, add 2 audio channels and
re-master the wav file for 8 channels...
I'm working on a graphical utility that will merge and play wave files to sound cards. I need to clean up the GUI but it is already functional. I call it Bombora.

Default Credit, Where Credit is Due.

While we are on credits and where they are due..

Mike S. formerly of LFI is the one who got there first on software for Sound Card Dacing. It was intended for a output device for LFI player. Mike wrote the first multichannel vector to wave code.

I was in the room when he who formerly posted here outputted his first test circle to a vectorscope, he wrote the code, I did the hardware. You might ask where he got the vectorscope and the outline of the idea. You might also ask who found the C-Media based cards, looked up the data sheets and registers, who bought the first 16$ PCI ones used for development, got on the phone to C-Media about drivers etc.

Yes, for all you have suffered with USB, There is/was a PCI card with half the setup issues, better output quality, and much better drivers. I have one in a drawer some where.

I'm posting this before it shows up in "MAKE" and some one else gets all the credits.

You might also be shocked about who was in the smoke filled office when the idea for a certain variation of MAME came to be. "Hum, What else uses vector graphics?" was roughly the wording the question asked by a certain well known cigar smoking man. I said "Arcade games, medical, HUD, etc , he said something like, "Ever heard of Mame?". He and Matt then went on to develop it.

    Hi everyone,

I´m trying to build my first homemade RGV projector. Are these Amp kits still available. Already have the C-Media sound card. I´d be interested in buying one.

    Thanks

    Just ordered mine
Now I need to know if the Audiolase has a M or F DB25 on it... The laser has a M port and I will probably need to order a cable.. I am not sure anyone stocks those in town anymore...
