Thread: two quad setups for combining red diodes

    Hobbybob was quite satisfied with the tightness of the beam. But that was before i recieved another 20 lenses with different FL and different NA,s. I compared them yesterday and i,m pretty sure wich the best lens to collimate the Red open cans LPC-815. I share that with people who are bought a setup to help him to get the best beam

    I think you mean, I found the best Focal length for the LPC when used for beam stacking.

    or did you also did test the efficiency of the lenses?

    It would be interesting to know the current running trough the diodes and the laserpower after the collimator to know if this lens is a good lens.
