The difference between a pointer and a laser is that we move the beam at such a speed, that it could be safer, if you know what you are doing of course.
Also in a pointer there are no safeguards in place as we use to minimize problems.

For example, a scanfail, which turns off the laser output when the scanners fail (within a millisecond), we can control the intensity of a beam/atmospheric in a specific area. we can also define area's so no laser can ever reach the audience.

These are just a few examples of the big differences there are. We don't use DMX lasers which also have almost no safeguards, we use computer controlled lasers.

The law is mainly to protect us from morons imo...laserpointers would be legal everywhere if people wouldnt do stopid things with them.

At the moment I don't have much to show except the realtime laser tracer *that can't output yet because I got no SDK yet to work with*
I might be able to make it though very soon.

Also I will try to make some cool stuff in 3D for LEM too *i have some 3D stuff to show and I also offer quick tutorials ;3 or maybe some explanations.
Also a suggestion what to make in 3D for LEM would be nice ^^
Then I can make something for LEM ... as I currently have no Idea boiling up on what to make *Is practicing heavly now with particles and physics*

It does not matter if you have anything to show or not.

If you just want to look, its also fine. Ask questions, No problem.
Show us your art , extremely welcome. But the entry fee is the same.
As the location needs to be payed.
