I don't think I'm going to make it. I have a lot of work now at the university and I still don't have a driver's license. I don't want my parents to make make that drive just for me so next time better luck.

By then I should finally have a working projector (although just unicolour blue) that lasts for more than a few months (dangerous to say such things, last year I was sure I would have that damn license by now! )

I could answer that;

Laser pointers that are "overpowered" are illegal in the Dutch law.
Allowing it in a building creates some assurance issues.
