    Hey Andy,

For the six diode build, did you use the 3x or 2x telescope from edmunds?

    Thanks,
    Austin

    3x

with regards to the telescopics what ever size you pick (mm) you need to stick as close as you can to these -

    NT47-348 - Plano-Convex Lens 25mm Dia. x 75mm FL VIS 0 Coating

    NT47-911 - Plano-Concave Lens, 25mm Diameter x -25 FL, VIS 0 Coating

    i went with -

    NT47-877 - Plano-Convex Lens 15mm Dia. x 75mm FL VIS 0 Coating

    NT47-906 - Plano-Concave Lens, 12mm Diameter x -24 FL, VIS 0 Coating

as you can see the specs are pretty much identical to the first ones. also i think in future i would probably go a few mm bigger on the 877 lens.

The NT47-348 with a NT47-911 will give you a 3x telescope and about .9mR beam
The NT47-349 with a NT47-911 will give you a 3.4x telescope and about 1mR beam
The NT47-350 with a NT47-911 will give you a 4x telescope and about 1.2mR beam

    hope that helps

    Yeah, thanks a bunch.

    I went with:

    NT47-890 Plano-Convex Lens 20mm Dia. x 80mm

    NT47-906 Plano-Concave Lens, 12mm Diameter x -24 FL

From what you said I should get somewhere around 3.2x Telescope, I'm also going with a larger initial lens per your advice.

OIC, well the NT47-349 you suggested has a 85mm FL so I went in between 75mm and 85mm. I havn't place the order so I can just get the 75mm FL lens. Thanks

    ok two tec's added.

has taken a number of hours to get the temp stable and the lens adjusted but seem to have got it sorted now.

will do some further testing tomorrow.
