really? you sure this gig booking was with me cos i dont remember it.

whats age got to do with anything? or is it the older you are the more brownie points you get!

gareth, ive been to all the UK meets, ive met all the uk members, ive even met some from europe, i regard most if not all as friends, i call, tx and email a number on a daily/weekly basis, ive done gigs with a a few forum members. so im happy for people to make their own opinions of me.

your boring me now so i wont be continuing our disagreement.

if we could just get back on topic

When that show was going to go down I phoned you the Monday and definitely let you know closer to the end of the week....When I phoned you you told me you had another show on when you agreed to keep your weekend free for this because it was going down.
When we discussed the prices you said I must send them to your website.I told you that your prices were on there and you said I must tell them to just let you know that I sent them so I can get a tiny cut above the price you already had on your website?Do you think people are as stupid as you and just overlook the price? You know jack shit about any business...how old are you?
(Yes Gareth definitely I will keep the weekend free)

I kept quite for a long time with you....you also said you would make me a red build end of last year....I sent you a message not so long ago....Ah Na mate I cant do it now or for the rest of the year....what a slap in the face!!

I'm really happy for you.I know 3 billionaires and a few multi-millionaires and more than 20 best friends from the ages of 21-54 men and woman boys and girls and know so much more.Your comments to me are like water off a ducks back...Seriously get a life in the real world and just ignore me and don't talk to me I'm not interested in what you say anymore.
Because you know some billionaires and a few multi-millionaires you really think you have made it in live? Seriously? Do you have more important news that you want to share Please get a live.

I would have been impressed if you where a millionair by selling lasers

O yeah i almost forgot we are talking about lasers and stacking beams. No offence but i think ANDY is the more experianced one here. Although there are more solutions the when do multi-stacking but all companies like ARCTOS, RGB lasersystems and Kvant use a telescope in their setups. The reason for that its because you can use a Longer FL to collimate the diode and there for you have a bigger dot. With a FL of 8 you have a 5mm dot from 1 diode. Its quite big and so you can see what your doing because it isn,t that tiny when having a collimating lens like 3mm. The telescope reduces the spot to about 1mm at aperture so just after the telescope you can have a tiny beam. If you have the right reduction ratio you can shrink the 5mm beams to 1 mm. When alligning them at far field you place the dots on top of eachother. Far field means mor ten 10 meter distance, 20 is meter better of course.

So with a telescope you have a few losses in the telescope. Also the bigger companies have another reason to use a telescope: Its cheap. If you buy lenses in quantaties like 100 or 1000 the price will drop to a 10th of the normal price.

Last week i build a 6 setup with a 2x3mm beam with 0.65 mrd. I can go up till 9 with my system without using a PBS. If i use two setups i can stack 18 diodes.

I,m waiting on te lenses to build the 9 setup. I have done the 6 but i want to build the complete setup before i start with making the last parts.

I will show it at the UKlem or i will bring it with me to PROLIGHT and SOUND.

When using more PBS cubes you have more losses.

I don't have to justify myself here to anyone....
So what was all thats stuff about billionaires and 20 best friends then? Sounded like you were trying to prove your worth to someone.

move on don't rock the boat even more.
WADR, you put up something like that on a public forum, you gotta expect some people to pick up on it, and perhaps even have some fun with it.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

I'm not disputing its factual content, I'm curious about its place on this thread.
