I reckon if the module is bolted down to a nice size base plate, and some heatsink compound is used in all joins that need to conduct heat, you should be fine.

Had 2 of these arrive and after a quick 'dry' assembly all I can say is.. top quality!
Building it up took no time at all and it felt like an AK47 would be needed to do it any damage, solid!

I finally finished to build mine (damn, the first one took so much time!!!!), and here's some pictures
The build quality of the parts is awesome Dave, seems very much like a pro modules.
I use the Picodrive driver, which do 6 channels + TEC with sensor, and must admit it is working really well, it's even the best one I tested (that's also the first hobbyist laser-related product I buy in 10 years, which was designed in my little country, a bit of chauvinism sometimes isn't bad)
