Do you have Traceit on your system?
(If not talk to PLer Drlava about ILDSOS software and SVGs/Inkscape)
Simple trick, this took 14 minutes with Windows paint and Google Images.
My Respects to the copyright owners of the image.
Take a image, copy and paste into the art program of your choce. I made a mask, by hand using the erase, line, and fill tools in Windows Paint, editing on the master image.
Run the file attached, Mask.BMP thru Pangolin's Traceit... Or DrLava's ILD SOS after processing in Inkscape.
I'd expect you'll clean up my mask a bit on the right side and make it your own,
The other way is to load the photo image as background and hand "Rotoscope" it in the frame editor, using the point and line tools.
For simple things like city skylines a great place to look is gobo manufacturers because they have already converted or made line art which is easy for the software to capture. Good luck!
There's a Brooklyn Bridge and a City Sky Line in QS as standard - Backgrounds 1 cues k and b.
Run them together in Multicue and then capture them into 1 cue and you have this:
There's also an overflight of the top of the buildings in Misc Cue Q and 2 versions of that Statue of Liberty in Cues W and E, and a US flag animated in "<" on the same page.
