There are usually a varied array of LPM's around the hall, some even calibrated

Just been to me mums to collect the sound equipment. I will have to warn you now Dimitri/Richard etc, I am going to be pretty useless to you all help wise. My dad did virtually all the lifting, He's 84 bless him, all I did was man the hoover to remove cobwebs, walk behind him to the car while he carried each bit in a wheelbarrow then I loaded/slid them into the back of the car.
Afterwards I was completely shot and had several coughing fits to boot.
I am also concerned about the ingestion of the haze in the hall and it further affecting my lungs, it's all worrying me greatly (wipes tear from edge of eye )
I will have to set up camp in the kitchen
I really thought I was going to be pretty much over this by now but it seems not

However, I am bloody looking forward to it, meeting you all again and all the new faces so shut up moaning Jim and go and make a cuppa

Nip down to the local farmer's supply and get a face mask (fine particulate filter). They should have some available as they use them in grain stores etc.

Other than that we'll just gaffa tape your mouth shut for you

Must be hell of a pointer then ?
The most powerful pointer i saw was last years lem someone brought a 1.6W blue...
So unless you got a way of making a pointer out of 2 diodes, or a way to supercool it to get cool 2W+ results we should do fine.

Just wishfull thinking on my part, although I will be interested in seeing what it is putting out.

Well I booked the day off work tomorrow so I will be setting off around 8.30 - 9 am and should be there by noon. If there is still any setting up to do when I land, I'm good for helping out.

Get a P3 rated mask and not only will it protect you from the fog but the rest of the LEM from the germs.

Otherwise I forsee an outbreak of laser related flu.

I'm ok jack though. Not coming and have had a flu jab anyway.
