As for travel... get the Mrs. to drive ya!

Christ... you've not seen her drive!! I wouldn't risk it.

She tore a hole in the rear wheel arch of the vectra because she decided to go to KFC drive-thru to get me some greesy chook. Decides shes waiting too long / kids are screaming too loud. Reverses out.

Says "I didn't notice the {fsck off huge red striped} bollard" obviously didn't hear it either as she managed to put a good 180mm scratch down the car, punture the bodywork and munge the plastic bumper.

But.. I'm not bitter about it. :P

What flight are you lads on? I'd love to attend a UKLEM for once but I'm not sure whether I'd be able to make overnight arrangements. Major cost will be in the flight and the hotel cost, so I'll keep everyone posted on how it pans out. Still 3 weeks to go.

On the other hand, this place is a dance hall and it's going to be very hard to resist some ballroom practice while the show is going.

Just to give this topic a bit of attention i think it deserves.
The LEM is already in 9 days.

@JEM: did you hear if Rupert Morse will be present ?
I thought he tried to be there if he didn't have a paying gig.
Should be known by now i presume ?

Looking forward to it very much, and yes Jem, i think i have to bring my QM2000.net too, else i can't use the software which always looks for the hardware to be present (which is better with the FB3, where you can use the software and design shows "on the road" without having the need to have the FB3 connected).
That's the only thing i can think of that is negative about the QM ;-)

Looking forward to this very much.... i will have to work 2 days next week and have a funeral to attend (i heard yesterdayevening unfortunately).
So i really need a break very, very much.
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Still don't know. Rob has been trying to contact him but I guess we won't know until a couple of days before the event.

Thanks Dimitri, we may not need it but I figured it wasn't too heavy to carry and it's better to have a surplus

Sorry to hear about the funeral , i'm sure you'll enjoy your time with us

    Cheers
