    From my calculations, 520mW of 635nm is worth 1500mW or 660nm. Now you have my interest! I have a spare B&K housing that could be purposed as per your culinary master piece.

    The diode was the 100um including FAC lens, beam at aperture is 6x2

    Note that the beam shot was taken at half modulation as I like my testicles where they are (burned door frame incident in the summer ).

    Har! I have vertical blinds up in my lab, Er' in doors has not yet seen the mysterious pin holes (around half a dozen) in them yet... Not has she seen the 445 shaped burn on the coffee table.

    I presume you have a TEC sizzleing in that stew pot. How many watts are you feeding the TEC if there is one there?
