I don't think you can as they're hidden in the main programme.
You can save them out then load them back from your saved files but I don't know of anywhere they're accessible in the programme as default if you've lost them without saving them first.
I've deleted some of mine accidentally before and from memory my only option was to start again.
Okidoki will try that then!...thanks!
I will also save them for future mistakes ;-)
Rightclick in the quickFX area, select QuickFX, import from file.
Then use the unzipped file as attached.
default qfx.zip
ahhhh...thanks!...you are my hero![]()
Just out of interest do you have to import them singularly or have you found a way of mass importing?
I'm kind of thinking that its probably faster to re-install as you can have the programme off and reinstalled in probably less than a minute, although if you can do a mass import and they all go into their correct slots then its probably worth doing a back up of them all individually.
I've back upped some previously (although not all) simply to allow me access to the effects in the editor as well as QuickFX window.
Just download the file from bart and load it...they will all be there
Thanks I've got it down now.
Obviously he's found the original load file somewhere. I couldn't find it even with show hidden files / folders.
Useful as a backup for quick repairs.
I didn't find it, I just exported it from one of my original installs.
Interesting. Wonder if you've found it in an early version and its been hidden in later versions.
This is all I see in the system folder:
Opening the library file in Word just results in it showing some kind of machine code.
None of the other QS folders contain anything visible or possibly relevent either.
I chose 246 because thats the earliest build I still have on my system.
EDIT: I found the file myself now Bart, its in the latest version - it creates its own backup folder on installation for QuickFX. (I'm not posting the number openly for obvious reasons).
