    cheers guys

with regards to the atx psu -

been in my this projectors for over a year running fans and 1watt green. ive never had a problem with it.

cant take it out as that would mean a complete rebuild on the whole projector

ok a small update, just done a connectivity test on the two diodes and two lasorbs using my volt meter. and everything is still connected.

surely if a diode or lasorb had blown i wouldnt be getting a connections?

Lightbulb I too have hated lasers...

Andy thhose diodes are hard as hell to kill. I killed several die4drives during my accidental quest kiling one diode, and the diose stil produces a "laseing beam" of about 50+mW. If you killed either of the diodes you'd still be getting something out of them even if they are only LEDs... no light at all sounds like something else to to me. If I got experience in anything its killing shit.

there was 12v going in but no modulation signal, so they were out putting like 5mw each. came back to em and they were dead.

checked voltage and its 100% 12v.

im using a die4laser driver and lasorbs, so what ever happened went straight through em
Just a thought, I was talking to Robin a few days ago and he said you must put < 12V when running them is series. Like 11Volts. have you tried another driver, it could be that you killed the driver with the 12v not the diodes.

You're a better laser killer than I am then.
