    Default Logo for Christmas Party

Hello everyone, the historical Mansion/Museum on my campus has hired me for their annual Christmas party has asked if I can put their logo up in laser. This is my first show, and I have never done this b4. I was wondering if someone could help me out? I read a tutorial outlining the use of inkscape in conjunction with IldSoS but I need the logo by Monday and I don't have time to become an expert in such a short time. Any help from those experienced would be greatly appreciated!

The logo can be found at the top of this pdf:

    Thanks!

Do you have just the promo logo in a tiff or jpeg?

There are way to many odd ball points for me to get a good optimization. I could only have it look good at about 4 FPS. Hopefully a master at it can do better.

Thanks for trying! I'm playing with inkscape now, not much time though. I have several finals this week that I am studying for (between laser breaks )

Here you go, glad you are at least trying to do it on your own, that's important. These are set up for well tuned 30k scanners.

Hey Andrew, the preview looks great but when I run through the scanners it looks like the scan speed is off. All the points are getting rounded like the speed is set too high. I tried optimizing the speed for 24k scanners but it didn't seem to make a difference. Any advice? I'll post a pic as soon as I can.

It's possible that your scanners are set up as 15k or you are trying to scan it at too wide of an angle. Check for a PM soon.

I can't see any obvious problems in QS with it but I don't have a laser to display it live on to check the exact scanned appearance.

QS with output to the FB3, shows a running speed of 22fps, which should be adequate, if not absolutely idea.
