what a day, left home around 8.30 saturdaymorning, got back home half past 1 sunday morning.
nice to meet you all, got a lot of components for my red and blue, will wait for the orders placed to deliver so i will be able to start building my next modules.

already took a look at some possibilities for a better ground plate (floor plate).
i also have photo's and video's, will find out how to upload them here and post them within a day or so.

shows were awesome, showed the vids and pics at home and they were very impressed.

I thought we had 13 projectors for some time so this is a huge amount of laser light, i understand why some people still see beams flying by

I just uploaded a random 2 video's *have alot more that are better filmed.
one just a small combination of some random filmings I did

Also does Zoof still has a computer to use?
Else I have a laptop and a DAC that he can lend for free
*he only needs to insert a new HDD as it's failing in that laptop, So maybe if his HDD still works and happens to be the same slot he can use it.
Does have 2 batteries for extended life.
Also the DAC is easylase, *don't have Riya sorry.
Im not using it at the moment and likely will not be for quite a long time so feel free to lend it.
As I see you do great development I would find it sad that this prevents you from continueing at the moment (if so)

Default NLLEM Ilpendam photo's and video's

Hi, i am uploading my photo's and video's to:

    /Laser Meet and Greet/20101211 Ilpendam NL/Photo's
    /Laser Meet and Greet/20101211 Ilpendam NL/Video's

Perhaps we can use this to collect and share the material more easily.

    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Now, I'm waiting the group picture to put a name on each head

Thank you Maurice (and other maybe) to have organised it, I know it's so much job.

That's just insane, with a few dozen people there, that's like, 500mW of laser power per punter? I think somebody got their calculations a bit off when they designed this gig!

I guess we're going to need a bigger venue next year.

I'm looking into the idea of throwing a larger European-wide "Mega-LEM" which can attract some more manufacturers, show designers and because of that, more audience.

I was thinking along the lines of the ILDA conference, but a little smaller and cheaper, with technical talks and stuff. I've got experience in hacker conferences and SF conventions, so I would be happy to get this ball started.

I guess I'll throw that in a different thread.

yep, 13 projectors with an average of 1 Watt with 16 people so this is aproximately

    13W / 16 = well over 800 mw per person

not taking into account several other pojectors that were not participating in the laser off which would account for even more light.

No offence, but wasn't it you who organised a LEM at a location where it was not allowed to use haze/smoke
