I think michel is revering to a case instead of a board. He asked me what the dimensions where of the case in a PM I said to him that if i could afford it i would buy 2 cases because this case is a good proffesional case. But i have invested my last penny in developing my red and blue modules. Just ordered another 260 euro,s of optics to test. I promised some people some high powered blues and a 9 setup red doing 2 watt of red with a 3.5 mm square beam at aperture that i,m trying to get finished before the UKLEM. I figured out how to stack the 9 beams and get a decent divergence.

I,m waiting on the lenses to come in for the red to build the 9 setup. I will look if i can find a link of the black caps for the hex bolts, austin.

Damn , i wish i had some extra cash under neat the carpet

Thanks Johan, that's one of last parts I need to find. I'm getting most of my fasteners from McMaster Carr and they didn't have black caps like I wanted.

I am going to try and build another batch of cases by the end of the summer, but I doubt I will do them on my own again. I will most likely have the panels laser cut through my company instead of on the side. This will raise the price some but I really have no idea what my company will charge me.

    Default Update

I have been very busy and made some good progress.

I have 95% of the hardware needed. The extrusion has all been sawed up, drilled, and tapped on the ends.

Now I just have to get the base-plates finished and sent to the anodizer while I get the side panels laser cut and painted.

Once I finish all the manufacturing there will still be quite a bit of work to do as far as organizing, packing, and shipping.

    Default Production update

    Hello all!

I have been hard at work but experiencing delays. All the outer panels were going to be laser cut but I'm having trouble getting my Sheet metal programmer to get the job finished. Hes swamped with other work so I'm going to split the work load and machine the thinner panels myself and just get half of them laser cut. It's a a lot more work but it will help speed up progress.

I also had a metal distributor drop the ball on the extra base-plates I ordered. She forgot to place the order and I was told 2 weeks before I could get them. I worked out a deal were they are going to ship the rest that I need next week but I have to saw it up myself.

Theses delays are going to push the completion date back a bit but not too much. I expect the production to be finished the first week of April then I will need some time for assembly/testing and packing/shipping.

Here's some pics below to show all the cover panels sheared up and ready for the Mill, and also the aperture cover is finished. I didn't like the look of the sharp corners so I have since added a radius around the outside to clean up the look a bit.

I'm ready to get this project finished as much as everyone wants to receive their cases, I need my life back!

Your hard work is appreciated Austin. I'm not in any kind of hurry so feel free to make mine last if that helps at all.

    Mike
