No kidding, Austin you're awesome for building these for us.

The beam mask looks pretty sweet! I don't think I ordered one but I am regretting that a little now. Very professional looking compared to the one I got from OSLS.

    Hi all!

Things are about wrapped up but there is a delay that is out of my hands. I have given Rob a bit of time on the ILDA boards and I still don't have an update. Hes been great to deal with but I don't know the status of the ILDA boards at the moment. I wouldn't panic, I'm just going to give him some more time to let me know whats going on.

At my work we are doing ISO audits soon so I have to get the cases shipped. The cases have to be removed from my work ASAP so I'm going to ship everybody their cases WITHOUT ILDA boards, power connector, and keyswitch (everything coming from Rob). Once the stuff from Rob comes in I will get it all shipped out to you. For those located in Europe I'll see if Rob can ship the boards directly to you as to save on the shipping.

I have a few pics below showing the test fitting of the cases. In the pics I used .5" thick foam folded over. I have since purchased some 1" thick foam so I don't have to fold it up. I am going with foam over bubble wrap since these boxes are so heavy (14x18x6" and 23lbs). I didn't want the bubbles to pop and have the cases banging around in there. There is also a picture of all the hardware kitted up.

Next week I'm hoping to start sending out the invoices to everyone for their shipping costs, along with all the extra group buys. I will have to send out another invoice once the ILDA boards arrive but I'm not sure when that will be.

Another note: If you didn't order an adjustable aperture mask ($30), I have some extras so just PM me and I'll update your order.

    Thanks,
    Austin

    Hi Austin,

I've been eyeing this thread for quite some time, and I must say, these cases look fabulous! I believe I read that you plan on doing a second group buy in the coming months. If you are still planning on doing so, please put me down for one case. I plan on building my projector over the summer and I'd love to put everything in one of these nice enclosures.

    Thanks,

    Kyle

    Kickass Austin!!

I really appreciate you doing the work on these cases for all us. I haven't forgotten our conversation on it either.
