With lots of green coming out im sure but lots of invisible radiation as well

Il take alook if there's a cheap large flightcase...
but do we have the tools to cut pieces out?
    Seems strong stuff.
Edit:5 mills of flight cases but one is to big one and other one to expensive. Need for <60eur shipped or will go for a pc case(if it'l work.) i guess a pc case is better then nothing?

    Edit2: what about this then?
    http://muziek.marktplaats.nl/behuizi...se-koffer.html
have to check sizes because the sizes on the picture and description does not match...
But this is suitable? We can cut out a piece for the laser aparture?
Only have 7 days left hope to find something usable

    edit: found 2 more options...

will the smaller case be enough? or not? my projector is to be exact: 29cm*27cm....and 9,8cm high.

still need to know if we have the tools to cut a hole out for beam aparture and maby for controls...
post 1 says a metal saw and drill but i have no idea if thats good enough for stuff like that above... and for making a hole in the middle.
else i can maybe try to arrange some tool....
better to go ready then find out i miss something on the day itself ^^

recommend me please, i need to order soon

I'm not yet sure what alternative to advice you.
But don't go for the pc case.

Imagine cutting in those narrow corners with a dremmel trying to make the whole pc case empty on the inside.

As you know a pc case has slots and all those crap bits in there that you will need to cut away.

Just go to the building shop and get one of those aluminium cases, most of the time around 25 euros. Or get the more expensive ones.

But it's much more handy at least than those pc cases...
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

    yes
I think you can keep on argueing all the time about the case.. but just go for the simpler method saves you time and hassle.
    buy that box.
There are a thousand ways Im sure to make your own case.. but save yourself the hassle.

+ if you want to have a enclosure on time then you'd better make up your mind a bit more quickly

    formido/gamma?
just ask for a alluminium casing?

and if i buy such a flightcase recommended by mccarrot, will you have the tools to cut out pieces or should i try to bring something with me?

yes a standard little thick alluminium case would be better then a desktop pc casing for sure

I agree with young PJ, just buy a case, make sure it's square or rectangular, has room inside (ie. is High enough to fit everything) and then start building.
Make sure to buy a nice powerconnector entry at the electronics shop, so you can put in a powerplug safely....

I don't have a decoupeerzaag, maybe someone can bring one (and metal and wood saws) have a drillpress, hand metalsaw (not electric), loose metal saw blades.

I have cleaned up half of my workshop....1 container full of shit i threw away (and filled my paper container bin almost full!).tomorrow the rest of the week i will start on the other half of the room, to have enough space..

im sorry for being a stopid laserchild(need to eat some info @ lem to grow into laser projector adult)...but a decoupeerzaag is required for making a hole in a case i buy?
My dad has one, but he says its for wood...if someone there can temporary adjust it to work on metal, i can borrow it, for you all to use

and those links @ bax shop seem nice sized enough... ?

@Edison, i need one THIS week...
    plus the price....wow

EDIT: the 2 links provided in couple of posts above to bax-shop are made from wood(7mm thick) what about using onesecond glue on the inside to attach 1mm alu plates?

edit: and since the case is bigger...is there a way to get a cooling fan on the top?
does someone have one for sale? the projector has another 2-pin slot for a fan...
