    Hey,

The mounting rings are 25mm dia.

At this stage, I dont think there will be enough interest to get the 532 or 660nm plates.. That being said, I still have a lot of 660nm unmounted plates sitting here

Has anyone ever tried to cut one of these in half?

Alright alright! I goofed, in that I had not freshly re-read this thread, the general knowledge was there and certainly an intent to buy!
Having mentioned that I will add that I was looking at this on ebay:
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Spectra-Ph...item3f0d1c1b1a
and the plates appear rectangular. I was not sure whether a WP could be both round or square and thought the plates in this GB were square.

@FourDee that reply really made me laugh!
@Dave I have asked you about buying 5 of 660 plates from you in that sales thread of yours.

I am still in need of all the other plates I ordered in this GB.

    Peace

Edit: I used to work at a place where we cut glass, I did not do much of the manual cutting but did do some. I was just thinking of cutting one in half if it was rectangular/square.

I would like to see what these mounts look like before coming to a decision on the number of them to include with this order, could somebody please post a few pictures or point me to a post where somebody shows these WP's being used with the mounts?

    Thanks!,

LaserCo....These are pics from a previous GB of mounted waveplates from Dave. The dimensions of the plate and mount are the same...12.5mm and 25mm....so...I would think that the current offering is the same. The mounted WP is shown placed in a custom brass holder I machined. I would go with a mounted optic. These are very nice units Dave is selling...and a great price !! Thanks...Sir Dave. BEAM

    Hi Dave,

I'll take one mounted 640nm half wave plate and one mounted 532nm half wave plate, if they come to fruition.

    Thanks,
    Kyle
