    He didn't respond yet.
I forgot he got was just going to bed because he had a headache.

Hmm so I don't know which motherboard as cyberbob told me it's designed for ati.
I honestly just want a good motherboard with loads of slots and also that supports my current hardware.
    (And has PCI)
Pricing doesn't really count too much as you shouldn't save up too much on those things.
The casing gets bought with the motherboard *as the current one is way to small*

The only issue is if you're using 2 x Nvidia in SLI configuration, the mobo only supports ATI Crossfire but there is a BIOS update to get around that anyway.

Well other recommendations are off course welcome.

I will only be using Nvidia cards and will never switch to ati.
Now I'm not saying ati is bad or anything but my preference go's to Nvidia.
Nvidia has technologies that have advantage to 3ds max users
    *like GPU accelerated physics*
and CUDA off course in other applications.
3ds max off course works on ati but there are advantages of having an Nvidia GPU with it over a ATI and there will be even more in future versions (soon there will be realtime Clothing physics coming out very soon)

    *edit*

    oh just read it again.
so the GA-P55 UD3 it is.
I hope he's up early tomorrow to ask him which one of the GA-P55 it is.
