unfortunatly these are way to big to fit in my projector.

What is the best to do now?
screw a plate to the side of the projector so its "extended" and offers more room?

a whole new case would be tricky...i think it will take a lot of time to unscrew everything and put it in a new case, plus i have no idea if we will come across more glue, plus it will probaly cost me alot more.

    thanks for any advice
Dear BQ. Your laser experience reads like a train crash! Your break a dichro, drop the projector breaking a galvo mirror and "something unknown". Then you rush out and buy PT scanners without even making sure they will fit?

Sorry, but I am crying here, let me grab a tissue.

I think you need to sloooowwwwwww down and think about things before you act.

Out of interest, before lasers, what were your hobbies, and how did they come to stop being your hobbies?

Rc choppa's, and it stopped because i already had laser pointers at that time.
Before laser pointers, i had gaming, wich i still like.

Yes the new galvos dont fit in probaly but what other options were there...less kpps? More $$$?
i dont really mind extending the projector with a alu plate. As long the laser output works and is nice

Considering his luck, he's lucky he didn't wake up with an empty gun and a headache!

Plus imagine the cost of replacing that holey pillow!

Those are pretty small amps for 30K galvos (smallest I have seen apart from Medialas Microamps) did you not check and measure the fitting space before ordering them?

You could make them smaller by removing the heatsink and/or some creative mounting, but with your track record it would be best to find someone and pay for their help.

    Lesson learned:
Always get as much information about the things you buy for your projector.
Also carefull with china's very *sarcasm* "accurate" specs.

Making a new case also costs time and money.
and the case you will be replacing will be useless / lost money.

Except if you think it's good enough for a future projector.
Also keep in mind to just not go that quick.
I know it's tempting, I understand. but just like people do often with for example 3Ds max:
    - Going to quick > Get stuck > Get confused
    or
    - Going to quick > Learn it wrong > get confused
    or
    - Going to quick > Fuck up > have to do it al over again
    or
Wanting too much to fast > Do not get the result they expect > Give up or get stressed.

    Avoid going to quick ok?

the above things I named is things I often find when people ask me for help or get stuck.
Asking for help is ok and Actually a recommended thing
(better to ask for help more often and learn it right you know )

Also if there are situations where you are not sure..... ASK.
Don't wait and see how things are going to turn out.
