Had to have a little fun. I'm sure you'll get it fixed eventually and I'm looking forward to seeing your photons when you do.

Look on the bright side BQ - at least all your lasers are spitting out photons - I keep popping red lasers in my china projector.

That wont be the case with the next red - I'll be isolating it fully from driver to mounting.

As for the big projector, that will be assembled with tedious attention to detail, so nothing can go wrong with it. After all the red laser will probably be a $1600 1 W kvant and I dont want to go popping that!

hehe yeah i know, expensive, but I'm building this thing to have the best gear in it. It'll take me a while - and thats not a 1 watt model, thats the 600mw model - I made a mistake. Still 600mw of 640nm red is gonna be crazy bright compared to 650 or 660nm, and neither of the latter will fit on my DT40W's with their torch beams.

My DT40w's should arrive tomorrow along with my dichros. By the time I'm done buying lasers (around may) I should have about 2 watts of laser power, 3 if I keep on saving and get the 1W kvant.

well because this topic lives again, i want to say my projector case is shipped today, together with 5L of smoke fluid and a mint scent.

I also got some things arranged for the LEM so i can repair and upgrade my projector.

Cant wait for sunday. sunday night will very likely get some photos and status updates from me in this thread of the other one about the LEM @ hobbybob.

i really really cant wait. finally a working projector again, and see all the nice profesionnal stuff and shows!

What projector case did you buy BQ?

you have reminded me too - I need to spend some money on fog liquid myself.

    A big flightcase.
Cut out a hole for beam aparture, and cut holes for power and controls.
    Will receive it tommorow.
