huh? I was talking about the Zap animation program from Lasermedia... ie: http://leftbrain.us/history/lasermedia.html - so, thus the 'legacy-system' ref..
...Oh the 'EPROM-days', lol... all these 'new kidz' are so 'spoiled'...

...But I like the sound of your ZAP-story... Oooh, big tesla... ...excellent..

Dream Beamz dug up a cool picture. LVIII adds two more wavelengths and two more scan heads, all heads have scan through effects that can pop in. SIX scan heads and each head has three selectable scan through effects. You have to see a four head, four color projector, with analog controls and mechanical blanking, to see what they can do, its not easy to express the color mixing that occurs compared to a modern single scan head RGB system.

Unit Two was destroyed after the exhibition.

Unit three was in use til 1985 and is the one mentioned above. It is the touring laser.
OK, I'm curious here. What am I missing on 'That' laser? Are we talking Pink Floyd's unit from Dark Side of the Moon here?
