Not sure on that one. Check Windows sound settings to see if its muting for some reason. Instructions are in my post above.

Other than that I'd try a reinstall or maybe a newer version, if its a very old version you may not have a fully functional VLJ although most builds have been good for some time now.

I don't know what version you have. If you have an email address that will accept a 9mb attachment then pm me it and I'll attach the latest demo version. I don't want to mirror it on here without Bill's permission and it also might result in a lot of downloads for Spec which wouldn't be good from a bandwidth POV.

I really couldn't comment as thats an individual decision to make based on your own needs. Its probably best if you watch the end of the demo where the VLJ is running and make your own mind up. It certainly gives much more variety than sound to light from a projector. Also, bearing in mind this was a demo, I had either 2 VLj's running or all 5 (main window + Layer 1 - colours). All 5 can be a little intense especially as Layer 2 has black out and fade / strobe effects that you might not want running all of the time due to the breaks they create, but then again thats the beauty of QS. No reason why you can't run VLJ on say Layers 1 and 4 and manually select occassionally from Layer 2 to suit your needs. Its all very flexible. You can have VLJ running automatically on some QuickFX layers and still select manually from others.
