i have an 300mw 660nm 815 diode mixed in with 600mw 642nm and it makes very little visual difference, i can switch it on and off and barely even see a flicker.
you would at least need to double it to 600mw to show up any amount, while mixed in that 640
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.

I have 2 watts of 655 mixed with 1.2w of 642 via a semrock dicrho, works fine, adds a little bit of brightness

Might be interesting to put the 660nm on ILDA pins 8 and 21 to have Independence. If of course you can define the pins to be a dark red.

i do that with my blues, dark blue (445) and light blue (473) on different pins, really expands the colors, not sure if the different reds would do much for color depth, but why not?
