    I have a mill like that and am not too interested in CNC right now, either. But, Andy, a good thing to add is an auto feed kit. It's a bolt on kit that will move the X axis for you.

    my next upgrade is a belt drive kit, but may look into that at a later date

    Buy a mini-lathe and then you can make the belt drive kit... and pretty much anything else for that matter.

    Also, I see you have a gas spring on yours. Did it come with that or did you install it? I converted to one and then later added another one so I have two in parallel. It make the height just about weightless.
