    Cool

I was going by the spec. sheet that came with the laser,it said all readings taken at 40amps
    heres the tube number: 20401
I can only get 30 amps before the under voltage light comes on,Ive got to fix my cap bank on the phase converter

Spec sheet is factory test, trust me on this. run at 32-35 amps MAX!
40 is too close to where they process the tube at the factory. You have the user manual, I have the factory techs field manual, which trumps the user one, OK?

    Question

No no.. I want meaning to go against you, I was just saying..
Well it ran for about 3 hours and now lases at 20amps
Now the argon works great, but the PSU still has something wrong.. I check and removed the trans. form the past bank and cleaned the passbank, that helped, then I found a burned up card, changed it out, and that fixed part of the controlr, it shows normal, untill you hit the start botton, then it shows over current, passbank, hit reset and it clears, but as soon as it starts, it goes full current... But Ive still got some checking to do..

If you can cancel the order on the 554, DO SO NOW!

Quartz tube with tungsten disks, ancient, piece of crap, difficult to keep going, and rarely survives shipping!
Has huge gas ballasts under the open frame, and the fill system can easily overfill the tube. IF YOU CAN< CANCEL NOW!

Its NOT so little, weights like 10 pounds would probably cost 80$ to photocopy all the foldouts, and I have the one for the 300 series as well. Any specific part you need?
