    Hi mate,

Same fault(s) plus some new ones I read off with the laptop at about 23:40 last night suspect it's an electrical connection issue of some sort.. but it got me back to work (350 odd miles) and I got good at re-starting it whilst moving so no issues with floundering around in limp home!

Is this a VW sourced TDi of some kind? Are you using Vagcom?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

My sentiments completely, happy to see Jem. Everyone said everything already about his daughter's unfortunate accident but from my point of view Jem was the first person I was in contact with on PL for ShowLEM and gave me a warm welcome to the laser "family". Also cheers Rob for yet more great technical insight.

Cheers, didn't help matters I sorta dumped it down and didn't make it clear it was for everyone ! - also with so many photons flying around easy to become distracted.... thanks for 'newbee' welcome to Surfleet.

Had a great day Saturday, good to see the people I'd met at ShowLEM and new faces, and see the amazing kit which you never see in one place. Really had a good time and learning experience. Thanks All.

A few pics below, no where near as good as Andy's as off oldish phone, here we go .....

You're all such nice people, it completely restores my faith in human nature. I have to confess that I have tears streaming down my cheeks as i'm writing this...

My daughter, Steph, is safe (thank goodness) and life rolls on, but I will never forget the compassion and kindness shown to me this weekend. It was the best tonic I could have ever wished for, and when you guys handed me the card for Steph I almost burst into tears there and then. My emotions have been ripped to shreds over the last few days and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kindness. All we need now is Soffy with the group hug picture (allthough I did secretly get a private hug from Soffy when I left ).

Thanks again guys, and a big special thanks to Jim (who deserves a private hug all of his own) for once again organising such a superb event.

    Cheers

    Jem

Oh, and Jim... you can dispose of the Olive oil, thanks
I'm very glad we could help Jim.
again, i'm really really glad your daughter is ok.

Also it was indeed a surprise that you came back for a moment, though i can understand you needed some refreshment for the mind so to speak.
I hope your daughter is calming down a bit already and that she can enjoy the card she got (and read my horrible handwriting).

I'd also like to thank the person that was responsible for the bear and cola and crisps at the end.
The belgium beer is what I actually kept the whole trip and gave to my bro.

Stanwax, we figured out which can of coke you shook, we had one explode while driving in the car lol (though it wasn't too bad of a mess).
