    yes, the bottom one is what I was trying to describe. I've had this exact same problem on a set of ScanEco scanners, and had to re-glue the mirror.

    For as far as i can check with my bare eyes, its glued correctly....

    In a chat, BQX mentioned that the projector isn't projecting straight onto the wall. I think that before we go further assuming this or that is out of line, he should snap a photo with the projector projecting onto the wall straight-on, with the camera at the same position as the emission window of the projector (as close as possible without covering the beams). Use the ILDA pattern with the large box on the outside, since you like to take photos at full scan angle. This will let us see any real distortions that may be present.

    projector at about 2 meters away from the wall. photo took with iphone 4 right next to the beam apartment window.
    the projector faced the wall in a straight line now.

    It was kinda hard to take a photo right next to the beam aparture...
    You can still see the weird lines....
