Thanks Doc!
yes, the bottom one is what I was trying to describe. I've had this exact same problem on a set of ScanEco scanners, and had to re-glue the mirror.

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

In a chat, BQX mentioned that the projector isn't projecting straight onto the wall. I think that before we go further assuming this or that is out of line, he should snap a photo with the projector projecting onto the wall straight-on, with the camera at the same position as the emission window of the projector (as close as possible without covering the beams). Use the ILDA pattern with the large box on the outside, since you like to take photos at full scan angle. This will let us see any real distortions that may be present.
projector at about 2 meters away from the wall. photo took with iphone 4 right next to the beam apartment window.
the projector faced the wall in a straight line now.

The Health and Safety Act 1971
Recklessly interfering with Darwin’s natural selection process, thereby extending the life cycle of dim-witted ignorami; thus perpetuating and magnifying the danger to us all, by enabling them to breed and walk amongst us, our children and loved ones.
Either your camera also needs tuning or your room is twisted.

It was kinda hard to take a photo right next to the beam aparture...
You can still see the weird lines....
