stand behind the projector. hold camera above the projector. point the camera in the same direction the projector is pointing. take picture.

You can still see the weird lines....
suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

Then do exactly the same, but project the same image half size and show us the picture

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I could do that but then you see the retangle and a dot in the middle.
Or i could scan the ild12k frame....then it would be okay.
What scan angle out of 100(in ild sos terms)

@swamidog, that would make the camera not close to the beam aparture. About 6cm away from it, since my flighhcase is way to big for the projector on baseplate wich is inside.

    Yes. That's the point.

When trying to troubleshoot, if you just do as requested, we'll get to the answer in half the time I expect

    In this thread... http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...please-help..?

You show a video in your first post with the projector having broken Y Galvo mirror... Is this the same galvo? If so, your Y galvo has a bent shaft or the mirror was glued in as in Doc's 4th picture in his post.

i previously owned the same scanset and it doesn;t do the ilda test very well to be honest but that is what you can expect from price/performance for this set.
First, you can't expect the ilda picture to be great because you make the size too large, put it small and build up from there to see where it begins to distort.
Second, this is the reason for me acquiring a dt40pro set. The PT's are nice but not great so reset your expectations.
If you get a nice graphic show, be happy with it and move on.

I had a discussion with another member on the subject of DT's only yesterday.

Apparently Bill has been helping with development and according to the person I was speaking to, DT's are second now only to Cambridge in quality (lets not misinterpret this here, Cambridge are untouchable for quality albeit at a price, but DT's are around the best of the others according to my source).
