I got talked into one of these, and after getting it I would not even think of a regular road case again. Thought I should maybe do a review of it for all.
Pelican 1660 case features:
1. Guaranteed not to ever break. Even the wheels and handles are covered.
2. Waterproof (O ring seal) and dust proof. It floats too they say, but I'm not testing that.
3. Pressure equalizing valve built into case.
4. Easy to customize (foam) to anything that will fit in it.
5. Nice handles on each end and a sliding handle for rolling it.
6. 7 tough latches for lid.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.
I liked this case so much I went to Fry's and bought some more smaller ones for misc stuff and dacs. The bigger ones I could only find online, but $330 for the one in the pics shipped to my door in 4 days was a great price I thought. I went to Pelican Products, found the right case I needed and looked on Amazon and found it for a good price.
All things considered I give it a 9.5 out of 10 For me to give it a 10 it would have to levitate itself into the car each time. It's tough as hell, and when you first look at the foam and how to cut it, it looks a little intimidating. The foam is 3 layers partially cut in 1/2" squares, so measure twice, just find the right line and a sharp kitchen knife. Easy.
