I am listening to a huge collection of 80's and 90's megamixes.
Some of them are really high quality, at this moment my favorite is the Poolmix 90's.
867 songs in a 8 hr long mix. Really good. I can put it on when i go to the UK and drive from my house to the boat in Dunkirque, and then from dover to surfleet and it's just about finished when i arrive ;-)
Now i am listening a mix which has 50 years of popmusic from Dutch Artists, from really old stuff to dutch Rap in one mix.
I really love those mixes, sometimes really well done, or funny.
Some are plain bad, and will be deleted. But for now it's over 3 weeks of nonstop mixes i will have to listen too.... maybe even 6 weeks.
After that i have collection of yearmixes, containing more modern numbers from 2009 and 2010. And after that i have a collection of old hiphopmixes.
Altogether good for months of listening pleasure without hearing the same number twice ;-)
So have enough to listen too ;-)
Next to these mixes, i love Docs' mixes, especially Tribute to Dave is my favorite.
Other music:
The Toy Dolls (Nelly the Elephant...and lots' of other cool songs)
Old Hiphop (Run DMC, Eric B and Rakim, Just-ICE, boogie down productions)
Trance (the relaxing (vocal) ones, not the real hard shit)
And yesterday i saw that Derek B (Bullet from a gun, best 1988 rap album in my opinion) also made (wrote/produced) the Anfield Rap (Liverpool FC), really cool enjoyed the clip on youtube... it's really funny.
Weird Al
CCR (Creedance Clearwater Revival)
Janis Joplin
Safri duo (i like drum/rhytm related music....)
Yeah i know, probably the strangest tastes in music, just like i like mixes i like lots of different styles of music....
