Smart Patrol / Mr DNA is the most awesome twin-set Devo ever created. I used to have a VHS (HiFi!!!!) of a live gig of them doing this in a large concert setting, mind blowing and I still get shivers down my back when I hear this 35 years later.

I have some vintage video clips from the 70's, they had access to very very good drugs. Oops, Secret Agent Man ^^^ is one of them and I just realised I posted those clips Aint getting old grand.

The 80s stuff like "Whip It" was too commercial for my liking.

Here are a few more classic Devo videos, "It's a Beautiful World" is a fantastic track, good video created with the assistance of Lucy.

"Girl You Want" is my fave. That and "Beautiful World". Now that I think about it, "Mongoloid" was damn good too. Shit, I need to bust out Devo on my way to work!
If you're the smartest person in the room, then you're in the wrong room.

Any single guide to my musical taste is probably impossible. Seriously, a library far greater than I can either afford or download would still leave a lot missing.

    But for now:
The Gallileo Brothers - The Dancing Lawn. As powerful and strange a bit of music as you'll easily find. Probably uniquely so. Hear it loud, in one go. It will change you, and it will stay with you for years even if you hear it once and never again.

A different but equally unique and memorable bit of ferociously weird awesomeness is Mike Oldfield's Amarok.

Best new artist I've found in a long time. Give it a listen, let it evolve.

It's just begging for an abstract show accompaniment...

There are some lovely water droplet sounds, plinks and wibbles! I like the reverby bits too. So much potential!
