Price, date and upgrade path for existing/new users is all we want. No marketing hype please.

    Oh, and screenshots....

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

Hello everyone, I'm at the hotel in frankfurt now, spend the whole time at the pangolin stand working with bill, loads of new stuff now and the show is nice.
Also Bill will be here tomorrow.
I also spoke to the Lobo laser graphics artist and in a fraction of a second he stuffed my hands full with books and more.

Anyways It's fun here and Bill is very friendly and nice =)
There is even a benchmark now for lc-max.

    It involves a mighty banana

    Oh, and screenshots....
I agree... and I would like to see screenshots of anything besides the 3D stuff... like the timeline editor (showtime replacement) and live stuff (livepro replacement - if any) in beyond

Also back home, was great 2 days,

    News from panglin:
today T minus 98 days fro the launch of Beyond.
Bill made some special lenses you can add to ou projector to gradually increase the divergence of the projectors in the lower section to increase safety. this made the audiance scanning show on the Pango stand a pleasant to watch .
When I was discussing this with Bill, francesco made a videotape of it, this will probbably be posted on the website, so everyone can see and hear how it works.

@SBK we where at 13:30 at the pango stand (traffic jam) so I probably just missed you.

    Other news:
    RTI was bought by Laserworld
Cittadini now also got nice mini projectors like Kvant.
RGB lasersystems now got a even more powerfulle new designed laser.
    Lightline had a 400W!!! laser.
the rest was pretty similar to last year.

In the evening we had a great time with the Pangolin team during diner and we have been drinking beer unit late.

As it seems safe to confirm, following McCarrot's post above the launch date for Beyond is the 21st July 2011 which is the anniversary of the moon landing as well as this year being anniversary of Pangolin.

For those who aren't aware of the significance of the 21st July, Bill's father worked for NASA and was one of the people instrumental in making the moon landings happen. So I read this is a tribute to Bill's father as well as a celebration of Pangolin's and the NASA's achievements which is a really nice gesture.

That's great, I look forward to seeing that in person. It sounds like this idea:

finally came to fruition, only with a smooth transition instead of a sharp one

Also look forward to seeing 'beyond' the 3D studio of 'Beyond'

    Default Prolight was awsome!

    back in the netherlands.
Sadly my plane was earlier so I had to go 2 hours earliers then todays prolight ended.
(sorry for that hobbybob and michel, I wasn't able to find you guys to say that I had to leave earlier, and I didn't have your number )

    Anyways,
My experience was amazing, met many people and got many bussiness cards.
Bill has been very kind to me, he is an amazing person

I was allowed to have fun and show things at the booth too.
Bill introduced me to quite a few people and also to some japanese people which he asked me to explain about lc-max
I ended up talking hours with these people, and they surely enjoyed this.
Ending with a big bow =P

Also got some people who seem to want to buy graphics of me and they gave me their bussiness card and told me to email them as soon as I get back.

There was indeed cola and I also enjoyed the nice hot pretzels at the stand.
The discoscan was really impressive and holding that things was also a interesting experience.

I took my mothers laptop with me and an usb stick with some stuff I had prepared, installed 3ds max and was able to start working with LC-max right away.
Just hooked it up to the lan and there we go

I saw my stick40 font was used
Bill told me some things that will improve the quality of my graphics and some overlapping line troubles and point density.

In conclusion: I will SURELY go to prolight next year and other events if possible
I'm very tired now as I type this but I just want to share my experience as soon as I'm able to.

The pangolin team were all very nice and also made me laugh quite a few times.

I think dieter is now able to make the whole universe in 10 seconds
    Right Dieter?

In the end I almost managed to forget my coat again, just like my first LEM

But I managed to correct myself this time.

    Oh one more fun fact:
When I was talking to laserworld employees and started about their advertised laser output and their modules, they suddenly started talking about their modules XD
Also I told them I have LW50k and woa they actually admitted that their scanning angles are not that great.
I have some advertisment books with me of almost any laser company on the prolight.

Looking at the Laserworld one right now, they advertise some projectors having 80k scanning speeds.
Now if you look at a very small text in the specs list you see it says: at 4 degrees Hehe way to go Laserworld :P

    Bill showed me this lenses.
But I leave it to bill for the explanation on this, whenever he decides to reveal it's beauty =)

oh right.. one thing that was weird, what was a pole dancers booth doing in the

proLIGHT and SOUND stand?? It didn't have anything to do with light or sound
