Totally agree, Bill is a good guy.

I wonder if that new lens will make it easier to get an audience scanning variance here in the USA?

and of course he special lens used to have a clear and sharp line on top of the show and more downwards more fuzzy to avoid damage to public and recording devices.
Kind of linear top down brush, first i thought the laser wasn't that great but then Bill explained why so if i looked more clearly i could see it changing.

if you look closely at the beamsize you can see it is different from top to bottom, see my post on the lens they used which diffuses the beams which are on the lower end of the show to minimal risk for audience and video/photo devices.

Hehe normally I would agree with you that poledancers are a good thing, but these looked rather manly and creepy than actually hot and sexy :P
I got their voucher almost literally pushed in my hands, so I have it laying here.
Will scan it in and post it in a moment then :P

I'm 100% sure of this thing
It looks like this lens will provide the answer to that problem.
I slept an extra half day and am still a bit sleepy.
I think Bill must be very very tired (which I can understand)
So let's just give him a few days rest and see if he will reply

That 1st Kvant video bears a startling resemblance to one of Ministry SK's shows both with music and effects.

Michel, which show did you prefer Kvant or Pangolins?

I'm undecided myself as sometime the colour looked stronger in Pangolins when you really look but fron the video there's just something better about the beam quality in Kvants that makes the colours look better. Its just all round crisper even above the audience.

I wonder if it was due soley to the lensing or maybe if Kvant's use of smoke rather than haze gave better definition.

The projectors on both stands where similar, also Pangolin was using Kvant projectors (and RGB laserssystems and HB), so I doubt there is a difference in beam quality in the upper part where no lenses where used.

My guess is Kvant increased the power after the safety officers left there stand...
