Its probably something really obvious that I should know about, but I am having to replace a PSU and am trying to identify what sort of 'glue' is being used. I've attached pictures, if anyone can help..

    Hi Law99,

It took me a bit of searching but I found something that should do the trick. They are located in the UK to.

    http://www.intek-uk.com/non_corrosive_rtv.html

It seems that an important feature is for it to be neutral cure as the acetic acid cure silicons(that vinegar smell) will in time corrode some electronics metals and cause problems.

I'm sure there are a lot more manufacturers of this type of product but I too found it difficult to get hits without knowing the proper terminology when describing the application.

    hope this helps.

    Good luck
    Kit
