produces a nice 5mm by 5mm beam.

im using olike lens so a pretty good beam at distance.

people are going to get very bored at the meet when i bring along 50 445 builds

VERY NICE! Tight, no wasted space. Looks like you are running the 4 diodes in parallel rather than series. The Flexmod could handle the voltage or the current so what are the advantages? If this is the better set up what resistors are you using. Is this going to be OEM or are you going to package this, but which ever way you go I like it.

parallel or series = personal preference

this is going to stay open

Series, you wont kill all the diodes if one decides to go open circuit..

is it just my eyes or do the beams look like they have excessive separation at the mirrors?

When I knife-edge you see very little if any space between the beams.
