I do not have a supply for these, it says on the back of the head to use a 261c supply. They could make a nice little case for a diode build. That is the problem I have always had with argon heads.

Laser (the acronym derived from Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation) is a spectacular manifestation of this process. It is a source which emits a kind of light of unrivaled purity and intensity not found in any of the previously known sources of radiation. - Lasers & Non-Linear Optics, B.B. Laud.

Since this is a paid event, has anyone bothered to file a show notification? And what about the city of portland's Laser Permit from the fire marshal?

I believe like SELEM it is still a private event and not technically an event where comerce is present; they only payment was for the costs associated with the venue and no profit is being made. The research done for SELEM indicated a LEM falls under a private event and notice is not needed. Our research could be wrong, but we have spoken with knowledgeable people with official contacts, although it may have fallen into one of those grey areas that are having light shined in that direction.

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.

    Talking NWLEM

    I am getting excited!
This will be my first NWLEM and I am looking forward to meeting other laserists there.
Many of you have been very helpful in persuit of this hobby and the information and knowledge on this forum has been of great value to me.
I will be bringing my RGB projector I built during this last, long, Oregon Winter. I will also bring along a few of my other small lasers. and am eager to see other lasers and what others have have been doing.
    See you there.

Wink This should be fun to watch.

Alright boys and girls, round em up and give a shout out... You got... 36 hours.

If it does become as bad as Slick thinks, we might want to start making a list for SELEM now. I believe SELEM will draw far more attention that this NWLEM will.

That LSO training from LSDI is looking more and more like a good investment. Glad I took the LPI Safety Training already.

All is well. This is a private event and should be just fine. Everyone will be expected to sign the same waiver we had at SELEM 2010 and SoCaLEM 2011.

I just spoke with Jonathan and he explained that the costs were for the flashlights, and any extra is a donation for photonlexicon... When I first spoke with Jonathan about this he told me it was different than the other Pacolem meeting, and they were charging for entry, now that he cleared up that it is not a entry charge, no need for filing... Sorry...

I think I can only make it for one day, so when is everyone going to be there?
