Well off course you can hand draw animations.
Or ask on the PL forums for a frames (make an request)
Sometimes if you really really need something and are unable to do so yourself, you can purchase shows according to your request.

As I said before, Quickshow contains a lot of frames too.
You can combine these frames to make your own show fast.
There are certainly frames of mirror balls, singers or disco dancers.

Let me tell you what, if there is no frame animation of say a mirror ball. I will make it for you for free.
However I can only help you on that after 12 april.

But I doubt you need my help as Quickshow surely has all the frames you need.
And thanks to the Pangolin Showportal this will only keep increasing.

Other laser software sellers like mamba, do not have a showportal.

I take that as a compliment.
I have no right to speak for myself about how professional I am, I leave this judgement to others, especially depending on how good I can furfill their graphical needs when they want it
    .
There's always more to learn, and I'm still building my way up.
I mostly do graphics, as I really enjoy doing it and will be for many years of my entire life, I'm certain.

Yes LD2000 is something different of pangolin.
It's the best they have, but it's also more pricey then Quickshow is.

You do get tons more, but if your on a budget you should go for Quickshow, it still comes with a lot of frames.

you have 3 kinds of LD2000 packages:
    - LD2000 intro $1495
    - LD2000 Basic $2495
    - LD2000 PRO $4995

To see what you get in this packages, you can check out the pangolin site.
It certainly has the best software available on the laser industry and tons of professional frames and shows.

LivePRO is included free with LD2000 Professional. Users of LD2000 Basic
And many more, the greater version, the more you get.

If you have the money to purchase the intro I suggest you do it.
However, again looking at your budget Quickshow is good enough
It's certainly not cheapass or limited software and does everything you need.

I have no clue why anyone else has not yet responded to this topic other then me.
anyways, if your going to do beamshows aimed at your crowd, please practice first and learn the safety rules, as always: Safety go's first and especially the safety for the crowd should be guaranteed.

In advance: Safe lasering my friend I hope you will enjoy it.

Awww.. Just so you don't feel lonely......

I can second the vote for Quickshow.
I have Quickshow as well as LD2000 Pro and Quickshow gives you a hell of a lot of "Bang for your Buck", especially for newcomers.
There's also the fact that there are many talented users of that hardware/software on PL who can answer almost any questions you may have about it.

Other options may be cheaper but you get what you pay for (and you should remember the old adage "Buy cheap Buy Twice").
In fact, with Pangolin gear you usually get what you don't pay for too !!

Pepper.... you've been in excellent hands which is why, perhaps no one has responded. There wasn't a need. I saw your post as soon as you put it up but, don't know anything about Mamba Black or what programs might have versions for Mac's, so I didn't respond.

However, I too, will echo everything you've been told about Pangolin. When it comes to controlling lasers, content creation, support, and everything you'd want, bite the bullet and invest in Pangolin. You will not regret getting the best out there.
