    Default dLase 300 workings

Does any one have any experience with these, anyone gotten one doing CW or any sort of specs of freq I would love to KTP it and get some 532 out of it. I believe its 1064 but I cant find any real documentation on it. All I can seem to find is it is useable between .3 - 3 W. The hene comes on and I can get it to pulse but I am getting codes out of it that don't exactly make sense. the optics look dirty, I have to give it a cleaning but as far as I can see it does lase, and toast the piece of etape before my beam stop so I know it is in the 1+ watt range. But 80 pulses per second wouldn't be very useful I would love to be able to get her going CW more than likely it will need a bigger DI tank and heat exchanger. I know somebody has tinkered with one of these at some point.

That was made by the now dead Sunrise Technologies. They specialized in medium rep rate small pulse lasers, yag, erbium, etc. The limit will be the lamp power supply which will probably not do CW, most likely being based on Sunrise's IGBT Inverter cap charger pulse topology. 85% chance its yag, and probably will single pass double if you place a doubling crystal in a semifocused beam.

Do not focus it down to a tiny spot in the doubling crystal until you find out if its Qswitched. Most of theirs were not, but some were...

Mine was CTH:YAG which was mid IR, and for dermatology.

Sunrise mainly made experimental lasers for medical test use.

I used to have the Sunrise schematics, sorry, I traded the manual to a friend who traded it to a another tech who blah blah blah...

Sunrises patents on the US patent server may interest you.

Thanks Steve, I had a feeling you may have dabbled with them. I gotta look into the system and figure out the triggering circuit in the PS. I would love to run it as fast pulsed as it will safely accept. Would be nice if I run her through a piece of KTP, and get some decent modulated effects. My electronics knowledge is not in depth enough to try this feat with out schematics or some sort of diagram of what control cards can be bypassed. Its in such a nice little water cooled, small enclosure I would love to convert it and make some 532 use of it. Its 1064, laser description sticker had a label over it. So its looking up so far!

Steve, you or anybody else please chime in. Would anyone know where to start looking for schematics for this laser. I would love to do some alterations, but it is just over my head and some sort of diagrams would be a great starting place.
