it must work as ive done the same setup here before, although i was using 12v not 9. but i can change to 12v if need be

will do some more testing soon and post back
thanks people

I have also a problem who gonna make me crazy !
On my blue setup, I use Two flexmods 3 @ 5V and 1,1A each, same condition, interlock is make with a solder wire...each time I power them, on one flexmod only, the red led flash one time, and after 7 or 8 second, it's always red, and off course, no output...
The only thing I have to do, is unplugged the power cord, unsolder the interlock, re solder it, and when I power it...all is ok !
help me please !

suppose you're thinkin' about a plate o' shrimp. Suddenly someone'll say, like, plate, or shrimp, or plate o' shrimp out of the blue, no explanation. No point in lookin' for one, either. It's all part of a cosmic unconciousness.
for me, modulation inputs are correct, but I will check that
one flexmod per diode, because I only have 5v available in my laser, and for me I think it's more safer for the diode.
Thank's.

If you're running a 445nm diode @ 1.1A then you may be cutting it close with a 5V power supply, @ 1.1A the diode will have a voltage drop of approximately 4.6 – 4.8V, getting a little too close to the 5V supply rail. Try test running @ 800mA, are the drivers stable now? If yes check your supply voltage, some power supplies allow setting the output voltage, if possible increase the output to approximately 5.2V or higher and try again.![]()
that's an idea, but I afraid increasing the output as my quad 640nm is on this psu too.
But I will test it right now. (with my red unplugged)
i can't see clearly from the pic, but is the orange wire going to the second flexmod soldered correctly (i mean to the modulation pad)??
as a general comment, a quad 640 up against 2w of 445? i suppose this projector is to be used for beams, right?
"its called character briggs..."
sure they are solder correctly ( I only need to open and close the interlock to make it working). I have to check voltage.
and, for my red, the upgrade is on the way, I have 2 more diodes to add, I expect a little watt of 640nm.
Sure my laser is working at 98% for beamshows (like many people no ?)
And the real problem is the red is very very expensive !
I actually have more blue (445) than red (640) in both my projectors and the red balances fine; 300mW red to 600 - 700mW of blue. 1W of 640 would look good and balanced with 2W of 445 even on graphics.![]()
