Default LDS 2010 - ild files

im in for a really stupid question, but i'll ask anyway

how can i get LDS 2010 to project .ild files? do i have to convert them to .cat files? (how do i do this?) Or is there any other way? (which is???)

i was thinking of something as simple as the ilda test patterns (so imagine how silly i am feeling at the moment, as i ask this)

    thanks!!

you have to open the picture editor, then, open the "cat editor" , select the 0, and then, click on file, import, ilda.
When it's ok, you have to save this to a .cat file.

On the show editor, add a trick film, right click, edit, select the first and the last picture.

If you want to import a ild file from those who make great show for us, you have to select the audio track, click on "get music lenght" and add a trick film as long as the audio file. (and select the .cat you have made precedently.)

The method for importing ilda files into a show for the new LDS (LSX) is to just drag them into the timeline.

I've set up a Q/A section for LDS/LSX specific subjects here:

There are a lot of new things with it, many of them have to do with useability improvements but there are some very cool new features as well that allow arbitrary animations and colorization. Anything you can dream up!
Hang on for the official announcement for all the details.
