I'm in Charlotte. I'm glad we are here instead of Raleigh. I saw the pics on the local news from Raleigh and I'm thinking "What kind of IDIOT is reporting the news from their office in Raleigh on the 10th floor, looking out a window, watching the tornado come straight at him?"

Anyway, I grew up in Iowa and this is one of the reasons the homes there have basements. I can't believe no one here has a basement (some but it's unusual)

We are living on top of a crawl space, its like being in a trailer when a tornado comes. Sweeps in under it and carries it away to Oz. (Done with rant)

Glad it didn't cause more damage and problems than it did, seeing that it went straight through the city.

    Wish you the best!

Crawl space is just a short basement.

the death toll in alabama was 210 and they expect it to get worse as they sift through the remains. in the hardest hit cities people that have lived there their whole lives say they dont even recognize it anymore.
