    Default Harvesting a Pico Projector

I don't know if this is of any interest to anyone here - but in case it is, I thought I would pop the link up: http://laserpointerforums.com/f51/ha...tml#post917607 I just dissected a laser pico projector, its an interesting little machine!

What are the powers of each diode?
    - There is no such word as "can't" -
    - 60% of the time it works every time -

The blue is an Osram, datasheet (I'm 95% certain of) here:
    http://catalog.osram-os.com/jsp/down...00049856_0.pdf

It's relatively high voltage for a blue, much more like a 405.

The red is typical red voltage. Around 3.2.

    Both diodes are 3.8mm

    Question

Have you tested the output power of the diodes?

Not until I get 3.8mm modules to mount them in - I'll likely do a part 2 to this thread once I test them. I'm excited about the potential for the blue to be slightly higher wavelength.

That said, I did test that both work - and they do. I wish I could get the directly doubled green to lase.

No problem. Always glad to help a worthy cause and thanks for letting me keep the cable. I was needing an extra micro usb.
