It will be a nice break from the godawful heat and drought we have had to endure here in Texas and also effected surrounding states. Beamann in Pheonix can agree. We now hear that they may start rolling black/brown-outs. This was the first year in Texas where many 4th of July fireworks shows were cancelled or postponed due to risk of wildfires.

I know of a few that are trying very hard to make SELEM-- this bad economy is really caused some bad times for many.
Having said that..... I think there may be some who do not have a spot to sleep. I have heard of a few that want to come so bad they plan to sleep in thier cars. SO... it would really be a kind thing to offer these guys a spot on your floor in your room.

My suite is totally full with four bodies but I know there will be a few with rooms and just two. Also if any who have reserved a regular room could change that to a suite your cost would come down if you let someone sleep on your couch, assuming they can chip in.

While a little crowded four in a suite IS doable and works out to less than $30 per nite if ll four can chip in. Three in a suite is no problem. I think if there are suites still open when you arrive the HIE will let you change from a reg room to a suite.

So some networking needs to be done to work all this out. Most will not know which room/suite they will be in until they get there( Docjohn, grandson, Sam and I will be in 115 btw) so I guess those in need can just ask around when they get there.
But I know nobody likes to beg.

Maybe if you can give one person just one night or more let Adam know--- you never know... next year it could be you that is out of a job or very low on funds for events like SELEM.

I am thinking of renting a suite at the Express holliday Inn whitch is $98. per day, If I can get two or three other room mates to share the room rental exspence, It would be about $33. each Pluss taxes But I have to put a two day deposit on the room to keep it available, So If your are interested in this group rental let me Know A.S.A.P.!!!! Like two or three days befor they are all full and won't be available.
The hotel is in Conover and real close to the Venue "SELEM" and I'll have a car rental to transport all who need a ride back and forth.
Please POST! and PM me! On this A.S.A.P.!! Time is an ISSUE here!

I'm arranging the last few bits.
I know where i'm staying now and i'm arriving ar charlotte international airport.
Is there someone who is sure that he can pick me up?
I still need to look when I arrive at charlotte because i'm flying to new york first and then take a flight within america directly to charlotte International airport (this is way cheaper)
