Who would like to meet Dr. Sam Goldwasser at SELEM?

If you have 'been' then you know you want to do SELEM 6.. those fairly sure should pony up thier $60 and shirt size ASAP== It will make Adam sleep better and encourage more to also sign up sooner and that in turn will help get others to make the commitment.

I cannot posibly go this year unless I am carpooling with 2 or 3 others. I can meet up anywhere between Houston and DFW. I would like to arrive early and stay late but as we must be on such things, I am flexible about that part. I can bring a super EZ hauling little 4x8 utility trailer with big box for PJs to keep them dry and safe. Lots of room in trailer for luggage, ice chests ,tables etc. My car could make the trip but I would prefer something newer with better MPG.

I worry more about the transportation than the lodging.. I hope to get another suite this year and again let Sam have one of the beds . I am fine with the couch or one of my airbeds.. I have several if others need one let me know.


SO all 'youse guys' in Houston, DFW, Austin, San Antonio or San Marcos (etc) send me some good news via PM.

AFAIK I will be bringing ( or sending--sadly ) another bunch of good doorprizes from Dr Chuck AixiZ Lasers and possibly another QS 2.0 FB3..

UPDATE EDIT--

Brad has stepped up and is bringing Sam to Newton on Wed. We are, however, still in need of a spot for Sam to sleep in Wed only.

Sorry to announce this...but.. as it stands now we may have to try next year to have Dr Sam at SELEM- we no longer have his ride from Philly to the event confirmed- with about 10 days to go if no one steps up I will have to let Sam know by next Wed. that it is a no-go. Thats a shame - I was looking fwd to his presentation.

Is there a room for him if we were to arrive late Wednesday night? Either at the Holiday Inn or the Trotthouse? I haven't committed yet but, that's a key question. I won't have space in mine.

update bump- Sam has had something personal come up that MAY cause him to cancel- so anyone who was going to help out just hang on until Sunday.

there is still a chance he can come-- if not there will be SELEM 2013.
