    Default Final Hours

As the 21 Oct doomsday clock ticks down across this earth's many timezones with no tangible results, theories
are beginning to emerge as the die-hard Campingites are frantically flailing and fanagling a way to come up with a
bible-based extension... Who knows, we may have an additional 3 to as much as 43 days by one count posted in a Camping
    Yahoo groupie group called Latter_Rain:

Default End of the Harold Camping Age?

Here's Camping's first post 21 Oct statement aired on Family Radio early this Friday (about 6 min.).

    http://www.familyradio.com/x/compani...reeting_2.html

    My favorite quote:

"Why didn't Christ return on October 21? It seems embarrassing for Family Radio. But God was in charge of everything. We came to that conclusion after quite careful study of the Bible. He allowed everything to happen the way it did without correction. He could have stopped everything if He had wanted to."

    YA THINK?????

Did God orchestrate all of this just to embarrass Harold Camping and Family Radio???

    Default Mark Your Calendar... Again!

Since Judgment Day didn't occur on May 21 and the universe didn't come to an end on October 21 of last year,
Mr. Camping has more or less retreated to his groundhog hole. Talk about a Govenor Perry 'oops' moment...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uvmKnFY4uk

Meanwhile, Camping's Family Radio empire is desparately trying to carry on like this whole date setting fiasco
never happened, but donations are getting mighty slim so they have had to sell a number of stations to stay
    afloat.

Just when you think Campingism is dead, fear not! Meet Chris McCann of eBible Fellowship- Chris has been Camping's
chief cheerleader and heir-apparent wannabe for years now. Chris has pulled Camping's calendar out of the toilet
by maintaining that Judgment Day did in fact start on May 21, and it was a spiritual judgment, but the final end of
everything has been delayed until around the Jewish festival of Purim in early March of this year. Mark your calendar!

    Default A Final Test?

It looks like we may have gotten a reprieve... Buzzard Sunday 2012 in Hinckley, Ohio might just go forward after all.

    http://www.clemetparks.com/events/buzzards_sun.asp

This quotes a letter from Mr. Camping that reportedly came in a recent monthly mailing to Family Radio supporters.
Not everyone in Campingdom is convinced of the letter's authenticity yet, but we'll see. If the letter is genuine,
the biggest Campingite stooges may be some unhappy Campers...

Here's the funny part- Chris McCann's (of '2012 Purim End of Days' fame) response to the apocryphal letter:

    A final test???

    More on good old Chris:

Now that's delusional- it looks like Camping's Frankenstein has turned on him.... This week should be interesting.

    Default Not a Fake!

The alleged new letter from Camping has now been confirmed, and is now posted on the Family Radio homepage.
FR intended the letter to go to financial supporters first, but with all the leaks and swirling controversy
they had to make it public to clear the air.

    http://www.familyradio.com/announcement2.html

Not to worry, no one is going to rain on eBible's doomsday parade which is still on schedule to fall between
    this Wed-Fri.

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Timean...ent_May212011/

And to think, eBible used to be Camping's biggest echo chamber. Maybe this IS the end afterall.

    Default Throwing In the Towel?

    Another failed doomsday date... Oops!

Now that Purim has passed without incident, Chris McCann and his eBible Fellowship has thrown in the towel.

A few excerpts from good old Chris:

Teaching truth is of supreme importance. Long ago, Family Radio and the
teaching of Mr. Camping stood out to me because I could hear the sound of truth.
I did not hear this distinct sound of truth anywhere else the way I heard it
when I listened to Mr. Camping on Family Radio. Also, the way the truth was
proclaimed was also very different than how teachings were proclaimed in just
about every other ministry. The truth of the Bible was proclaimed with
authority (years later I learned this is one of the characteristics of Christ,
He spoke with authority the Bible says, unlike the teachings of the Pharisees)...

(No, that's not a typo and your computer is not malfunctioning- he's comparing
    Camping with Christ.)

The same methodology which allowed Mr. Camping to develop such clear teachings
of many biblical subjects was also applied to the end times teachings of the
Bible. Soon, a crystal clear outline of end times events developed. Each step
could be checked as to how it was arrived at, and for faithfulness to the
Scriptures themselves. Eventually, a great deal of information was gathered
together and zeroed in on the date of May 21, 2011 as Judgment Day!
As I review (and have reviewed) all the Bible's information, concerning May 21,
and now Purim. I see things that were wrong (again, no literal earthquake, no
physical 5 months of torment on earth, no end of the world in October, and no
end of the world and rapture of God's people during the feast of Purim); but my
problem is that I do not see why they were wrong. Based on the Bible's evidence
I do not see why the world did not end. Therefore I do not know where to make
    correction.

(What part of "No man knows the day or the hour" did you miss?)

Years ago I have felt extremely sorrowful over the many false teachings of the
churches. We first began as a ministry with the desire of being as faithful as
possible to what the Bible says. I have never wanted to teach anything contrary
to the Bible. There is enough error out there to last us all many lifetimes. E
Bible Fellowship existed to teach truth. And yet, without knowing how or where
to make correction regarding a doctrine that impacts so much of the Bible itself
I do not think it is possible to continue teaching at this time...

(All of the false predictions have been hard on the offering plate. Time to pick
up a job washing cars. And forget about EVER going back to a church!!!)

Sadly, it is time for this group to close. E Bible Fellowship has sponsored
this group for the last couple of years in order to provide a place of
discussion on end time topics. At this point, E Bible has no answers to some
very important questions concerning the end times. However, may I also point
out that neither do others. I'm sure many think they do, and our eager to share
their understandings concerning where we are and what is going on regarding
'time and judgment'; but I've heard nothing from these sources that are very
solid at all. Actually, one additional reason we will be shutting down this
group is to avoid it becoming a place for other people's speculations.

(Clueless... If Chris McCann doesn't have a clue, no one else does either.
What an epitaph- the shepard has left his sheep adrift.)

P.S. We will keep the group open for a short time to allow anyone interested to
    say their goodbyes.
Check out these sites while you still can:

    http://www.ebiblefellowship.com/

    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Timean...ent_May212011/

    Reader's Digest version:

OK, I was wrong.. So what? ALL of the churches out there are even MORE wrong, so what do
I need to apologize for? The problem is I've been spreading Mr. Camping's manure for so long
I don't even know what IS true anymore, so I'm just going to take my marbles and go home.

Does anybody know of a quick way to cache these sites and their treasures before they get erased from history?
