Yup Jordan the 445-C-L
Try and test the 445-C-L with a 9mm 445 or A130 445 or M.....
Be interesting to see if the 445-C-L is out performing the G2 with regard to beam spec.
Maybe you could place the two beam profiles on the wall for comparison at the same power levels of just over threshold.
Sorry guys been really slammed. Did get time to do the power comparison. The three element lens does pass just a little bit more. I will get more of the requests as soon as I can.
Three element glass.

Ok so slightly more losses. Can you make 2 pictures to compare the length of the stripe at Farfield both on the same distance. If it is smaller then i expect a low NA longer FL lens between 8 and 12 or something so it will have a smaller stripe at farfield.![]()

so what is the issue with the extra long FL lenses?
doesn't the usual 4mm asphere + prisms cut it?
it is not that we are trying to tame a moster here!
more inportantly, when are these diodes back in stock?
"its called character briggs..."
I think more testing is needed to see if they are worth the losses but they make a really nice beam compared to a three element lens. I am working on getting more stock but they seem to be a few weeks out.![]()
Hey DTR, What would you recommend as a diode replacement for Maxyz modules? both of mine are dead. will your 300 mw 650's play nice with the maxy drivers and fit the enclosures?

Not sure. I am not familiar enough with those modules. I would start by testing the drivers and see what current they are supplying.![]()
This is what i found on google about his modules, maybe when you take some extra time you will find what kind of diodes he's using.
I also read that someone talked about Andy which is a member on this forum, the topic says he liked the modules so maybe he can help you out finding new diodes.
