    I agree. That's pretty exciting.

Have not heard anything on lower power single mode true blues. We can hope.

    Hi DTR,

We can see a big color gap between the common "445nm" diode and this new one, more noticeable variation than between the NDB7675 462nm Laser Diode and "445nm" diode.

About the "zombified" moment... are they 5.6mm diodes ?

If yes, I calculated that more than 9W of heat has to be dissipated. A 5.6mm has 17.6mm of perimeter for heat exchange. A 9mm diode has 28,3mm (I don't consider small peripheral-frontal contact). This help a lot

I was sooo close to buying a pair of the NDB7676s but something told me to hold on, so pleased when I saw the email that DTR had introduced the M462, Just ordered a pair from you sir.
    Squat that bug,

One day I'll finish my build.

    DTR,
We really need to get you to SELEM! I bet you would cover the cost of the trip in diode sales. I would love to hear you speak about your experience with the various diodes you've worked with.

I've suggested the idea to him. He is concerned that his busy schedule may not allow it.

But I agree that he'd make enough money on sales to pay for the trip. It's just a matter of whether he can spare the time...

NDG 700mW?? Where did these come from? I hope you'll be posting some test of these guys. Also some beam specs!
